BayHelix Reception

CCTEC held a networking reception at the Cornell Club in Manhattan with members of BayHelix, an organization of Chinese-American executives in the life sciences (http://www.bayhelix.org/). CCTEC staff were on hand to discuss commercialization and technology transfer as they mingled with guests.

Seminar and Social Hour with CCTEC and Johnson School MBAs

Attendees joined CCTEC professionals and MBA students from the Johnson School EVP Club to hear a presentation from Dr. Juan Hinestroza, assistant professor in fiber science and apparel design department. Free drinks and hors d'oeuvres were served.

CCTEC professionals and MBA students from the Johnson School EVP Club gathered to learn about a company that was formed based on a Cornell Technology. Dr. Theodore Clark, CSO and Co-Founder of Tetragenetics, shared his experiences while attendees enjoyed free drinks and hor d'oeuvres.

Cornell Technology Venture Forum 2007

Cornell inventors from the Ithaca Campus and Cornell Weill Medical College presented startup company business plans to potential invetors while faculty with earlier stage technologies presented emerging opportunities to launch new startups.
