CCTEC acts as the bridge between Cornell inventors and the world of industry. We work with inventors to secure the proper intellectual property rights protection for their inventions, and by marketing and licensing their technologies to businesses. Our mission is to promote the public good by facilitating the transfer of Cornell inventions into useful products and services, and by helping start up companies connect to venture capital.

CCTEC provides service at CCTEC's two offices in Ithaca, New York and at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. CCTEC also support researchers at the Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, New York.
